The property that has become Mikolowski Farms was purchased in 2017, the same year our daughter left to join the United States Air Force. The purchase of the property had always been a dream for us and eventually that dream was realized by hard work and determination.

The property is approximately 80 acres and has about 40 acres of tillable, workable field. About 40 acres is forest, and a natural ravine that runs through parts of the property. The property had one 80 X 40 garage type building and an attached lean to with only a dirt floor.

Since the purchase of the property, the lean to has been disassembled and concrete was poured and additional 20 feet was added on. The lean-to area then became the hog barn, with 5 pens and 1 farrowing/supply room.

In 2020 an enclosed feed lot 40’ X 60’ with poured concrete was added allowing room for approximately 50 pigs at a time. In 2022 another 40’ X 40’ lot with poured concrete added outside room for the pigs to come in and out as they please.

The Farm began as a hobby in 2018 after helping friends with their various farms, and Curt farming as a child and young adult. The farm had one sow and one boar when created.
